Occupational health & safety management
We are responsible not only for the well-being of our patients but also for the health and safety of our employees. Therefore, occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations are applied to all people working at our sites, including contractors and visitors. We have implemented standard operating procedures, guidelines, and other instructions that provide a framework for OHS globally. All ISO 45001-certified sites are required to have an OHS committee in place, and we comply with national OHS requirements in each of our locations.
Work-related injuries
We aim to prevent all work-related accidents and continually improve workplace safety. To achieve this, we have introduced a global management system in accordance with the international ISO 45001 standard.
Accident analysis and risk assessment
OHS risk assessment and accident analysis are the backbone of any safe and healthy workplace. We identify and evaluate potential hazards and risks, implement controls to mitigate those risks, and analyze accidents to determine root causes and prevent future incidents. Using this data, we calculate the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) and use it as a performance indicator.
Promoting good health
In addition to comprehensive OHS measures, we promote health wherever possible. We rely on decentralized offerings, which we tailor as precisely as possible to the needs of our employees.
