Freka® Endolumina

The Freka Endolumina can remain in position for up to 4 weeks, if the tube and the nose are carefully cared for. If enteral feeding is required after this time, introducing a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) is recommended.

• Tissue compatible tube made from polyurethane for endoscopic placement via the instrumental channel of the endoscope (cut to size required after placement)

Contraindications

Not suitable where enteral feeding is contraindicated; nasopharyngeal stenosis; severe injuries to the nasal and pharyngeal cavities, severe clotting disorders
