We asked him a few questions:
What did you study?
I have a background in mechanical engineering from the University of Ferrara in Italy. I also completed a Master of Science in Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Cranfield University in the UK.
Did you start in your current position?
No, I started as a process engineer and project manager, introducing automation for filtering production. Later, I took on additional responsibilities, including managing multiple automation lines, and in 2023, I became the Technical Office Filter Manager.
Can you describe a typical workday?
Years ago, I spent a lot of time in the clean room, especially during the ramp-up phase for the automation line. Now, I spend most of my time in the office, but I still visit the clean room for meetings. My team focuses on maintaining and improving the efficiency of our automation and helping the production department run smoothly.
What is your favorite part about your job?
I love the variety of my tasks. From Industry 4.0 advancements and safety improvements to reducing production stops and implementing new automation lines, every project brings something new.
